It has become the popular trend to make an info-graphic. But, what is an info-graphic? An info-graphic is a graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information quickly and clearly. The purpose of an info-graphic is to make it the most effective way to share message. Also to establish authority and to share across social platforms. The best information displayed would be stats, data, images and maps. Sometimes data in words is not easily understood, but if you have a visual picture of the data you can easily see what it means. Info-graphics can convey message to audience by giving a better visual presentation of the message to make it better to understand. Research has shown that they improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance the human visual system’s ability to see patterns and trends. I would use info-graphics in my class assignments when I want to show data and want to give a better visual presentation of it.
